This GIF pretty much summarizes how we feel about The Book of Mormon hitting home tonight. Although the fourteen-times-over Tony winner has already made a splash on Broadway — and sold out in Denver — it finally reaches the Ellie Caulkins Opera House at 7:30 p.m. for the first performance in a run that lasts until September 2.
If you weren’t lucky enough to hunt down a ticket for the musical’s first tour trek, you’ll have a second chance in October 2013. But if that’s not soon enough, click through for additional information on the play’s ticket lottery .

Created by South Park maestros (and hometown heroes) Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the play is hosting a lottery before each performance that will give 24 people the right to buy last-minute seats. Organizers will begin accepting names at the Ellie two and a half hours before the laughs begin — which means half-an-hour from now. Each hopeful may only enter once a performance, and if your name is drawn, you can buy one or two tickets; each one costs $25.
