In what’s become a homegrown tradition on par with shows by Slim Cessna and Big Head Todd, Rose Hill Drive has helped usher in the New Year in Boulder for at least the past five years by taking on a classic album in its entirety. This year at the Fox, the band will be playing Elephant, by the White Stripes. From the looks of this “Mr Right” mini-doc, directed by Grant James and filmed at Dog House Music in Lafayette, the group and its new(ish) bass player, Jimmy Stofer, have seamlessly made the transition into a quartet and are well rehearsed and beyond ready to rock socks.
