It’s no secret that Radio 1190’s Basementalism on Saturday afternoons showcases the state’s freshest DJ’s and hottest hip-hop, but it’s always a treat when DJ Vajra makes a guest appearance. Arguably one of the best turntablists in the nation, a small five or ten-minute live set from Vajra is a treat. But last weekend he stopped in the Radio 1190 studio and spun for an entire hour. Now if you missed the show (it’s on every Saturday from 4 to 7pm on 1190am) or just couldn’t get a real nice and clear reception, Vajra is offering his set for free download.
