Night Shiftin, the latest release from Six O’Clock, produced entirely by the Aurora-based MC himself, has an intimate, organic feel to it. As far as rapping goes, Six shows plenty of passion and promise, with a decent flow that’s strong enough to carry the joint. Night Shiftin is all about the party, and from the first knocking beats of “Rockstar” and “Livin My Dreams,” Six O’Clock effectively drives this point home. Party rap has its place, and it looks like the MC has found his niche with the appropriately titled Night Shiftin, which is best played in preparation for a long evening of getting down.
