Heather Baroody is so hardcore she wears snowboard binding screws as earrings. We last caught up with her last January as part of our cover story profile on her sponsors at Never Summer, and it turns out she’s been busy since then: Last month she won both the Women’s Slopestyle and Women’s Rail Jam while representing for CU Denver at the 2011 Alt Games college action sports championships at Copper Mountain. Next year’s Alt Games competitors can rest a little easier with the knowledge that Baroody graduated this month with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a minor in Astrophysics, ending her eligibility for the competition.
In a new video posted this week Baroody looks back on her 2010/2011 season highlights, including the Alt Games wins and some serious backcountry chutes that show her all-around mountain prowess.
