Earlier this month, the University of Colorado at Boulder announced its plan to close the Silver & Gold Record, a newspaper that covers CU’s faculty, as part of a cost-cutting effort. But assorted staffers at the paper and the school feel there are plenty of reasons to spare the publication, and they plan to offer them this morning during a meeting of CU’s Board of Regents, slated to take place at 10:30 a.m. in Research Complex 2, Room 2100-Trivisable at the Anschutz Medical Campus, 12605 E. 16th Avenue in Aurora.
