Yellow Feather Coffee has closed its doors at 742 Santa Fe Drive. The community-minded shop, which grew out of the home for Growler Distro & Record, says on its Facebook page that is no longer in business.

Although Yellow Feather poured a good cup of coffee, it was much more than a coffee shop. It quickly established itself as a neighborhood gathering place, hipster hub and a regular stop during First Friday; it also hosted touring bands.
As a results of all its good works, it won our Best Alternative Venue award in the 2012 Best of Denver.
