It may not be the Bronx, but this new neighborhood spot has New York-style pies and more.
NY Pizza Pub, which opened last week in northwest Denver, serves up a wide selection of specialty pizzas, calzones and pastas designed to attract locals. So does the game room for kids and the flat screen TVs in the bar; for diners who’re looking for a little more peace and quiet, there’s a private dining area.
Owner Howard Goldberg thinks the restaurant will become a “go to” hangout. “We have excellent pizzas and an extensive menu. It could be a Bonnie Brae type thing.”
NY Pizza Pub is located at 4340 West 35th Avenue, and is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday; and noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
