Just before the Parade of Lights lit up downtown on Saturday, the Wynkoop Brewing Company hosted the Parade of Darks, an annual winter beer fest featuring brews “in the amber-to-opaque color spectrum.” This time around, Denver’s oldest brewpub gathered together 82 beers from 34 breweries, an expansive list that included barleywines, browns, porters, stouts, Scotch ales, dunkels, sours and a few brews that don’t fit into any single category. All of the money went to a local charity.
The photos that follow will provide a taste of the event. Find the rest in our full Wynkoop’s Parade of Darks slide show.
