Last November, Russell Scott, known to generations of Denverites as Blinky the Clown, closed his antique store on Broadway, triggering a wave of nostalgia and oodles of media coverage that seemed to fade after the last item was auctioned. But Blinky lovers remain faithful, as this newly posted tribute to the burp-day master demonstrates. The soundtrack, by the way, is “Everybody Loves a Clown,” by Gary Lewis and the Playboys, which is as simultaneously amusing and frightening as some of the images on view above. You’ve been warned.
