Tiefschwarz
is the brainchild of brothers Basti and Ali Schwarz. Hailing from Stuttgart, Germany, the two have been in the electro dance scene for close to fifteen years. The name “Tiefschwarz” is a play on the brothers’ surname and literally translates to “deep black” — which, by no accident, is an accurate description of the Schwarz brothers’ sound. Although originally known for their house and deep-house work, the pair has recently done remix work for some of the biggest names in the new electro scene — DJ Hell, Anthony Rother and Alter Ego — in addition to releasing dozens of electro-house tunes of its own.
