More good news for CU boosters beyond the impending hiring of Jon Embree to coach the Buffs: Tomorrow’s launch party for the Boulder Swimsuit Calendar 2011, featuring twelve CU students showing off their bikini bods. The models will attend the 9 p.m. bash at The Goose, 1301 Broadway, with 5 percent of the calendar’s proceeds going to the Make a Wish Foundation. In 2008, he became the lead writer for Westword‘s news blog, The Latest Word, a position he held until January 2023.
