Cafe Society served up just three Guess Where I’m Eating/Drinking contests last week (along with a bonus post on where Governor Bill Ritter grabbed lunch on Thursday: Senor Burritos), but that was enough to fire up the comments and conversation. For correctly identifying the Tamale Kitchen plate (and doing so mildly, in the midst of a string of comments hotter than the green chile there), Rod gets this week’s DINR deck.

Rod, send your contact info to cafe@westword.com, and we’ll send you the DINR deck.

But really, anyone who buys a DINR deck is a winner: For $50, you get 52 cards, each offering a $10 discount at a local, independent restaurant. You can buy the decks at any Tattered Cover location or at www.eatdenver.com.

Or, of course, you can win one right here. But fair warning: Our stash is running low. Next Monday, Cafe Society will award a DINR deck to one of the winners of this week’s Guess Where I’m Eating/Drinking posts.

This year, make your gift count –

Our work is funded by readers like you who make voluntary gifts because they value our work and want to see it continue. Make a contribution today to help us reach our $50,000 goal!

$50,000

Guess early, guess often — it could be the last week for this prize.
