One of the best parts of Thanksgiving is concocting a sandwich from the leftovers the next day (or sometimes the night of). But you don’t have to wait until the end of the month to enjoy this holiday indulgence. Turkey, cranberry sauce and stuffing somehow just get better when slapped between two pieces of bread — a fact that many sandwich shops embrace by offering it year-round, while others serve up specials in November.
So if you need a fix while you’re planning your holiday meal, here’s where you can get a taste of a Thanksgiving-inspired turkey sandwich right now:

Pony Up
Baker Market, a small deli in the Baker neighborhood, serves the Gobbler loaded with turkey, smoked Gouda, lettuce, tomato, cranberry sauce and mayo on a croissant.
Capriotti’s is a sandwich chain that was founded in Wilmington, Delaware, in 1976. In 2022, it debuted its first Colorado outpost next to Pindustry in Greenwood Village; it’s since added locations in Highlands Ranch, Castle Rock and Parker. Its Thanksgiving sandwich, the Bobbie, comes with slow-roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo. There’s also a hot version with grilled, slow-roasted turkey. You can add a side of gravy (as well as mashed potatoes) with any sandwich for dunking.
Pat’s Philly Steaks and Subs, which has locations on Quebec and Iliff as well as Arapahoe Road and Dayton in Greenwood Village, is the home of the P.J. Gobbler. It can be ordered hot or cold and includes chunks of oven-roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo on a hoagie roll.
Pony Up is a LoDo bar that always has a stellar menu of French dip sandwiches, but only in November can you get its Thanksgiving Dip loaded with sliced roasted turkey, pork sausage stuffing and cranberry mayo and sage gravy for dipping.
Spinelli’s Market in Park Hill has a sandwich counter in the back that’s always dependable. In the fall, order the turkey cranberry Gouda with lettuce, tomato and mayo. Sure, there’s no stuffing, but the buttery, flaky croissant it comes on is a fine substitute.
Subculture in Capitol Hill also holds the stuffing in its spin on a Thanksgiving-inspired sandwich. Dubbed the Giving Thanks (That the Family Is Not Here), it’s loaded with turkey, cranberry sauce, lettuce and cream cheese.
Yampa Sandwich Co. was founded in Steamboat Springs by longtime friends Peter Boniface and David Pepin. This Colorado-born business has now grown to eight locations, all of which offer the Pilgrim year-round. It includes roasted turkey, Gouda, seasoned stuffing, cranberry chutney, romaine lettuce and mayo, all served on sourdough.
Wishbone Family Restaurant, a classic spot in Westminster known for its fried chicken, has a hot turkey sandwich on its menu that comes with cranberry sauce and a choice of potato, including mashed.

Legacy Pie Co.
BONUS: Legacy Pie Co., with locations in Wash Park and on Tennyson Street, has both a full-size and mini Thanksgiving pot pie available all November long. It’s made with smoked and peppered turkey from Post Oak, one of the city’s best barbecue joints, plus cranberry sauce, green bean and onion casserole, smoked turkey gravy and garlic mashed potatoes.
