I don’t remember where I was when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963, fifty years ago today — because I was two. However, my mom tells me she couldn’t hear the news flash about this tragic event because I’d just clobbered a neighborhood kid in the head with a wooden horse and he was screaming so loudly.
