A South Carolina woman who thought her car was running “rugged” late last week took the vehicle to a local mechanic — and what he found did not ease her anxiety pangs.
As the mechanic ran a diagnostic check, he was surprised to find a cheeseburger and pickle at the bottom of the gas tank. Removing the offending burger and condiments and repairing the damage would run about $1,000, he told the woman, which prompted her to file a police report with the Rock Hill, South Carolina constabulary.
Because while you might think that a greasy fast-food burger is a viable power source, apparently that only applies to hungover humans, not vehicles.
This was definitely not a case of a cheeseburger in paradise.
