Anyone who’s been unemployed for an extended period of time knows how difficult it is to find work these days. However, the latest report from Indeed.com suggests that it’s considerably better in Denver than plenty of other major cities.
In the site’s comparison of fifty job markets circa February, Denver is currently ranked seventh — up three spots from the previous month. Not that gigs are plentiful. According to the chart, there are three unemployed Denverites for each job posting. But the ratio is one to five in Charlotte, one to six in Chicago, one to nine in Los Angeles and a staggering one to fourteen in the lowest ranked city, Detroit.
Feel better now? Didn’t think so.
