Our post breaking down new cycling experiments meant to turn Boulder into a living bicycle laboratory sparked mostly approving comments for the city’s efforts. But one reader believes Boulder still has quite a way to go before it reaches world-class status — and he offers an example.

If they were truly serious about bike safety they’d follow the Amsterdam model, where there is pretty much two “sidewalks” everywhere — one for bikes and one for pedestrians. It would be expensive but would make Boulder a “world class” bike friendly city.
