Caribou Coffee and Einstein Bros. Bagels opened their newest coffee and bagels concept in Aurora, at 16495 East 40th Circle Suite A, at 5 a.m. today. In celebration of the opening, the chain will be giving the first fifty guests in line a coupon booklet for a free medium coffee, bagel and shmear each week for a whole year. You’ll need that coffee to keep you going through a quartet of other worthy events today.

And Denver Harvest Week continues with another special dinner at the GrowHaus. “Grapes vs. Grains: The Golden Goal” continues the epic battle of beer versus wine. With every course, the Colorado Brewer’s Guild and a Colorado wine expert pour their best offerings of Colorado beer and wine, and patrons vote after every course as to which pairing tasted better. The series is currently tied but Colorado Wine edged Colorado Beer by a nose last year. This year’s theme is “The Go-ahead Goal,” and Vine Street Pub, Jax Fish House LoDo, Adelitas Cocina y Cantina, Ace Eat Serve, DiFranco’s Italian and Revelry Kitchen will be creating dishes honoring futball.
