An unfortunate “oops.”

A lot of newspaper errors are kinda funny — as long as we’re not the ones making them, that is. But one on the Rocky Mountain News website at this writing is more sad than amusing: A piece headlined “Boyfriend Suspected in Slaying of Girl, 4” is affixed to a completely different Associated Press report — one that details a double-fatal car accident in Weld County. By the way, the crash story is properly labeled in the Rocky‘s September 29 print edition.
