A recent Comment of the Day found one reader arguing that Colorado was awesome before so many people moved here for the weed.
No surprise that plenty of people disagreed about whether this viewpoint represents fact or fiction.
However, the following take stood out for its sunny positivity.

As a native, I think that Colorado is greatly improved by open-minded, educated out-of-towners. We voted against gay marriage, we used to be a Republican state, and now look at us. My opinion is, keep coming to Denver for “the weed” or whatever it is that brings you here. You all make Denver a more accepting open minded place to live.
