Watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas — whether you prefer the original animated version or the live-action remake with Jim Carrey from a few years back — has become a holiday tradition. And now you can add a live-action viewing of Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas, a musical stage version that’s guaranteed to swell your heart at least three sizes.
“Hit songs like ‘You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,’ from the original animated special, as well as sets and costumes inspired by Dr. Seuss’s original illustrations, help transport audiences to the whimsical world of Whoville,” notes Heidi Bosk, spokeswoman for the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. “It’s the classic story we all know and love about how the Grinch finds the true meaning of Christmas.”
