As we’ve noted, the annual NFL Draft gets under way tonight — and even though your Denver Broncos are highly unlikely to choose a quarterback with their first pick (all the marquee names should be gone by then), their signal-caller situation is dire.
The only QBs currently on the squad are lightly regarded Trevor Siemian and butt-fumbler Mark Sanchez.
Meanwhile, Gatorade has just released an extended video about recently retired Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning that will likely make Denver fans feel even worse about the current reality.
The two-minutes-plus clip, titled “Dear Peyton,” features people in Manning’s life, including former Broncos teammate Demaryius Thomas, reading excerpts from exceedingly kind letters he wrote to them over the years before offering their own gratitude to him against a nostalgic backdrop that features images aplenty from Denver.
