Feminism & Co., a weekly lecture series that “explores contemporary culture through issues relating to women and gender,” has returned to the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver for 2015. From 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight, the topic of discussion will be the role of gender in the food industry. This Star Chefs panel will feature Jennifer Jasinski of Rioja, Yasmin Lozada-Hissom, Dana Rodriguez of Work & Class, and Elise Wiggins of Panzano in a conversation about women’s connections to the business of food; the talk is moderated by University of Colorado Denver professor Nicky Beer. And yes, the program includes samples of the chefs’ specialties.

The weekly series will meet every Thursday at 7 p.m. through April 23 at the MCA Cafe, where the audiences will explore gender issues through film screenings, creative performances, lectures and panel discussions. Everyone is welcome to attend – and men drink free. Find out more here.
