It’s National Donut Day, and Denver will be rolling in dough as outlets of national chains and local shops alike roll out deals. Habit Doughnut Dispensary won’t be open in time to celebrate the holiday, but Denver’s first doughnut dispensary will open soon, Mark Antonation reported earlier this week; Habit will be paired with Carbon Coffee in the old Paris on the Platte space. But as addictive as most people find doughnuts, one reader isn’t impressed by the plans. Says Emilia:
This is the dumbest, tackiest, most trend-chasing and unimaginative thing I’ve ever heard.
