Back in March, TV viewers across the state saw Colorado State Patrolman David Dolan get pulled over by Douglas County officers for alleged drunk driving — likely the first time a CSP member was busted for DUI on the job. Now, Dolan has reportedly been sentenced to ten days in jail and eighteen months probation for this offense plus a weapons charge.
No doubt Dolan had been imbibing to excess: His blood-alcohol content was measured at .194. According to Channel 7, his attorney says Dolan suffers from PTSD due to years of service on the state patrol’s fatality unit.
