Our post spotlighting a Gallup poll that ranked Colorado among the less religious states in the country spurred a fascinating conversation about faith and regional differences in the way it’s practiced. Here’s a post from a reader with experience in a state that landed near the top of the religiosity scale.
Julie Grunewald Williams writes:
I lived in Georgia for many years (too many) and it is another world down there in the bible-belt. Being back in a less religious state like Colorado is fantastic! No one asks us what church we go to or brings up religion in a job interview (yes, they do that in the south!). It is wonderful to be back in a secular-thinking state!
