Welcome back, Ototo. The space at 1501 South Pearl Street that debuted five years ago as Ototo Food and Wine Bar is returning as a new incarnation of Ototo, with an intimate dining room and the same signature raw bar and sashimi of the Den Corner. For the next three weeks, Ototo will be hosting a three-week “friends and family” phase to break in the new kitchen and fine-tune service. Beginning this weekend, it will accept limited reservations — by phone only, at 303-733-2503 — for tables from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, for parties of up to six people; 50 percent will be taken off the final check.
