“Weird Al” Yankovich performed to a sold-out Red Rocks crowd for his Bigger & Weirder Tour on June 24, and the audience was hooked from the start.
Puddles Pity Party opened the show with haunting vocals and silent comedy, dressed in his signature Pierrot clown outfit. Puddles is the alter-ego of Mike Geier, who brings the towering clown to life with baritone vocals and mime-like comedy.
The crowd was warmed up and ready for Weird Al, who took the stage to a roar of applause. The satirical singer brought his signature blend of parody, polka and theatrical flair, and the setlist featured fan favorites like “Smells Like Nirvana,” “Word Crimes” and “Fat,” alongside new material that had the crowd roaring with laughter
