The Ten Best Pumpkin Patches Around Denver

Instagram was flooded with the gold of Colorado’s aspen trees last weekend, which can only mean that leaf-peepers and other lovers of the autumn aesthetic as possible will be heading to pumpkin patches next.

Luckily, the Denver metro area has plenty of those.

Whether you’re searching for the perfect pumpkin to carve for Halloween, the most warty gourd you can find or an autumnal backdrop for your next photo shoot, these ten Denver-area pumpkin patches and events (in alphabetical order) have you covered.

Anderson Farms
6728 County Road 3-1/4, Erie
There are plenty of pumpkins at Anderson Farms, but there’s also a whole lot more. Anderson Farms’ Fall Festival is through November 1 and includes activities and attractions such as a 25-acre corn maze, a petting zoo, duck races and a pumpkin cannon. Tickets start at $13.50 and kids under three get in free.

Aurora’s Fall Into Fun
Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 East Alameda Parkway, Aurora
Saturday, October 25, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Fall into Fun is a free event presented by the city of Aurora. The festivities include a pumpkin patch, food trucks, craft vendors, a hay-bale maze, trunk-or-treat and much more.

Chatfield Farms Pumpkin Festival
8500 West Deer Creek Canyon Road, Littleton
October 10-12, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Enjoy a 10-acre pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkin and a day packed with fall fun. The event also includes a corn maze, live music, an antique tractor exhibit, vendors and more. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors 65 and older, $12 for children ages three to fifteen and free for kids aged two and younger.

Four Mile Historic Park Pumpkin Harvest Festival

Head to Four Mile Historic Park for a pumpkin patch, artisan farmers market, crafts, live entertainment and more – including the exclusive-to-Four Mile apple cider churros by The Aguilar Four. General admission is $20.

Maize in the City

Maize in the City offers carving pumpkins, specialty pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn and other fall decor. Admission to the pumpkin field is free, but the farm also offers a mini maze for $6, a 20-acre corn maze for $15 and other attractions, such as a playground, corn kernel box, a petting zoo and more. Miller Farms

Miller Farms’s Fall Harvest Festival goes through mid-November, and it’s free to attend. In addition to picking out pumpkins, visitors can harvest their own vegetables, navigate a corn maze, take a hayride and more. Learn more online.

Hop on board a hayride, pick pumpkins, play lawn games, eat at food trucks and more at Miner’s Pumpkin Patch at the Western Museum of Mining & Industry. Admission is $13 for pre-purchased tickets and $15 at the door.

Nick’s Garden Center

It’s not technically a pumpkin patch, but Nick’s Garden Center is a great place to get pumpkins and other fall decor, including specialty gourds, bundles of cornstalks, bales of straw, kettle corn and more. It’s Fall Fest at Nick’s every day through November, and you can walk in for free and enjoy activities such as a straw maze, a kiddie play area and more.

Rock Creek Farm
