Outside Days — formerly Outside Festival — is returning to Denver for a multi-day event on the Auraria Campus from May 28-31, and festival organizers have just announced a slew of legendary bands slated to perform. In addition to live music, Outside Days includes an outdoor industry conference, which is slated for May 28-29.
“Denver’s outdoor spaces are where our city comes together to breathe, reconnect and to build the kind of community that makes us who we are,” says Mayor Mike Johnston of the event, now in its third year. “We’re proud to welcome Outside Days back to downtown Denver. This festival reflects the best of our city: creativity, connection and a shared love of the world beyond our front doors.”
More than 18,000 people attended the inaugural event in 2024. In 2025, the festival expanded its footprint in Civic Center Park and included such programming as an Outside Film Festival and a Shark Tank-style competition. More than 35,000 people flocked to the fest last spring to attend programs and see headliners and speakers such as Lord Huron, Khruangbin, Alex Honnold and Albert Lin.

“Denver has proven itself as the natural home for this movement; a place where the outdoor industry doesn’t just gather, but where we actively shape what comes next,” says Robin Thurston, CEO of Outside Interactive Inc., in an announcement of Outside Days plans. “What started as a bold vision has evolved into a platform where entrepreneurs pitch game-changing ideas, where policy makers and brand leaders forge new partnerships, and where thousands of people come together to celebrate why we do this work. The energy is undeniable, and it’s only growing.”
This year, the music lineup includes My Morning Jacket, Death Cab for Cutie, Cage The Elephant, Tash Sultana, Goth Babe, Japanese Breakfast, Dawes and more.
