The Sandlot at Infinity Park (Monday)
See the coming-of-age classic about a ragtag children’s baseball team for free tonight at Infinity Park. Pack a picnic, sit under the stars, and shout, “You’re killing me, Smalls!” along with the family film.
Near Dark at Crash 45 (Tuesday)
For a very different movie-going experience than Monday’s heartwarming family-friendly classic, head to the patio at Crash 45 for Kathryn Bigelow’s Western horror flick. The Hurt Locker director’s first film about a wandering group of nomadic vampires screens as part of the always excellent Cruel Summer Horror Film Series hosted by Blood-Thirsty Theresa.
Free Day at the Clyfford Still Museum (Thursday)
Though admission to the Clyfford Still Museum normally costs a Hamilton, you can explore the work of the influential Abstract Expressionist today for free. Browse the current Memory, Myth & Magic exhibition, which features over fifty Still works that relate to the idea of memory in different mediums that span from 1929 to 1970.
