$20,000

Amy Silverman, managing editor at one of our partner papers,  Phoenix New Times, will be at the Tattered Cover on Colfax tonight, June 17, to talk about a very different publication: My Heart Can’t Even Believe It: A Story of Science, Love, and Down Syndrome, her book about her second daughter, Sophie, published this spring by Woodbine House.

She’ll be reading at 7 p.m.at the bookstore at 2526 East Colfax Avenue (as always, admission is free – but you’ll want to buy the book!). And in the meantime, you can read this free excerpt from her book published in Phoenix New Times.
