You might already know about the Chicken Coop Tour this weekend at the Denver Botanic Gardens — but Denver Urban Homesteading is also presenting a chicken-coop tour tomorrow (Saturday, October 1) from 1 to 4 p.m. There will be 23 coops and goats on the Urban Homesteading guided walking tour, plus quail, turkeys and bees — and more.
There will also be a monthly Chicken Swap hosted by Denver Urban Homesteading in the parking lot of Earthdog Denver, 370 Kalamath Street, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Everyone who purchases a $20 ticket for the coop tour can receive 10 percent off organic chicken feed or dog food at Earthdog Denver, as well as discounts on Earthdog’s locally made coops.
