Wanna live it up before you give it up? Celebrate Mardi Gras at Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret’s Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras Party with appetizers, desserts, champagne, New Orleans-inspired cocktails and the glittering gals of the Bella Diva Dance troupe.

Guests aren’t required to dress up or wear masks, but “we’re hoping they do, to get in the spirit of Mardi Gras,” says club co-owner Jefferson Arca. “I’ll be at the box office that night; anyone who dresses up like Batman gets in free.” Naughty Pierre will emcee the evening, which also includes sword dances, feather shaking, beads and glitter for all.

“Oh, yes,” says Arca. “There will be lots of glitter.”

The party starts at 8 p.m. at Lannie’s, 1601 Arapahoe Street. Tickets are $15; for more information, call 303-293-0075 or go to www.lannies.com.

Tue., Feb. 21, 8 p.m., 2012
