There’s poetry. And there’s a trapeze. Do you really need to know more about PoeTreze? An occasional cultural offering from the National Theatre Conservatory class of 2012 (its last, incidentally), PoeTreze swings in a way that regular poetry readings never do: in the spoken meter of high-grade performance poetry — and up in the air, with the greatest of ease.
Better yet, tonight’s PoeTreze Volume IV features what’s just about the hottest thing in town right now when it comes to spoken word: Denver’s own 2011 National Poetry Slam victors Slam Nuba, doing their thing for the local public. Yay!

PoeTreze IV begins at 9 p.m. in the third-floor studio 12 of the Tramway Building, 1101 13th Street, across from the Denver Performing Arts Complex; admission is by donation and benefits the 2012ers. Visit the Facebook event page for information.
