Reader support matters more than ever
We're in the final stretch of our summer campaign. Our goal is to raise $25,000 by August 9 to support the journalism our community relies on. Reader support is helping shape the future of local news.
When was the last time you got to wear your pirate costume, get drunk and laugh out loud at someone? Don’t miss your chance to dress up, drink up and laugh it up, tonight at 8 p.m. at the inaugural Ha Ha Halloween Party at the Comedy Works. Kevin Fitzgerald (Animal Planet’s Emergency Vets and the Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson) will headline the party with a plethora of other talented local comedians for your ghoulish pleasure.
Strapped for cash? Not only does your sweet 1980s Ninja Turtle costume get you in the door for free, but celebrity guests will judge a crazy costume competition. And don’t worry — they didn’t forget about all you drinkers. Budweiser is also sponsoring spooky drink specials and, yes, there will be Halloween prizes!
Tickets, $12, are available at www.comedyworks.com, the Comedy Works box office (1226 15th Street) or 303-595-3637.
