“We are excited to bring a second weekend of free live music to our guests this year and cap off the Vail Snow Daze event with performances from 10,000 Maniacs and Rusted Root,” says Vail spokeswoman Sara Lococco. “So if you missed out on the first weekend, there is still plenty of time to enjoy all that Snow Daze has to offer, including fresh tracks on the mountain by day and free live concerts by night.”
Stop by the base of Gondola One today to check out the sponsor expo and free activities; nearly all of the base area’s bars and restaurants will be offering après-ski specials. Tomorrow, bundle up and head to the outdoor Solaris Plaza at 5 p.m. for the free concert. Oh, and don’t forget your skis and snowboards.
“Traditionally, Snow Daze has been held during early season to provide extra value to our guests during a time of year when weather and terrain can be less predictable,” Lococco explains. “However, this weekend our guests not only have free concerts to enjoy, but also a massive amount of open terrain across the mountain, including Vail’s legendary Back Bowls and Blue Sky Basin.” Visit vail.com/events/snowdaze for more information.
