In a perfect world, everyone would have both the time and the ability to create thoughtful, handmade gifts for family and friends. Of course, ours is a far from perfect world — which is where Share Denver’s Fairfax Holiday Market comes in. The second annual holiday market will feature the work of local artists and crafters, including jewelry from Mercer & Jayne, art prints from Ink Lounge, home goods from Wilderness Romance, herbal infusions from Borage & Berry and more.

“There are people who are good at those things and are talented and are making things with their own loving hands,” says Share Denver founder Becky Hensley. “If you can’t make it yourself, buy it from someone who can.”
Share Denver partnered with neighboring businesses Doppios Organic Coffee and Naturally Loved, where Santa will be making an appearance for photos, milk and cookies. “I’m focused on making sure people participate in what Fairfax Street has to offer,” Hensley adds.

The market runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Share Denver, 2829 Fairfax Street; admission is free. For more information, visit sharedenver.com.

Sat., Dec. 20, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., 2014
