$20,000

Ingrid Michaelson has been caught up in a whirlwind of activity for almost almost two years since her song “Breakable” was used on an episode of Grey’s Anatomy. The show then placed her endearing tune “The Way I Am,” which was also used in Old Navy’s fall commercial campaign. But when Grey’s Anatomy used “Keep Breathing” in its season finale, Michaelson’s Girls and Boys album, released on her Cabin 24 imprint, shot up the charts on iTunes and has stayed in the top 100 for over a year. She’s just issued Be OK, which is a collection of previously unreleased songs, demos, live tracks and covers.
