Last summer’s hit parade of gourmet street-food vendors is back for another full-throttled feeding frenzy at Civic Center Park, home turf to Civic Center EATS, one of the city’s hottest lunchtime meal tickets. And this season, promises Lindy Eichenbaum Lent, executive director of the Civic Center Conservancy, Denver’s summer power lunch spot will be returning with a vengeance, with all of the fresh air, incredible food, live music and community energy to keep folks coming back week after week.

Launching today, Civic Center EATS will satiate hungry bellies every Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., through September 29 (excluding September 1 and 6), with grub from Manna from Heaven, the Bon Bon Buggy, Latke Love, Fiddle My Griddle, Stick it to Me, Pinche Tacos, Quiero Arepas, Steuben&’s and dozens more.

The sun-drenched food odyssey is both the largest gathering of gourmet food trucks in the city and &”a showcase of Denver’s culinary and entrepreneurial diversity,” adds Eichenbaum Lent. For a full list of participating street-food vendors, go to www.civiccenterconservancy.org.

Tuesdays, Thursdays, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Starts: June 7. Continues through Sept. 29, 2011
