If you’re anything like me — thousands of miles away from your family, with no money for airfare and a girlfriend who flies home every Christmas — then you’re likely to get a little bitter around the holidays, with only your dog and reruns of A Christmas Story to keep you company. It’s not as lonely as it is boring. Even with that twelve-pack of seasonal brew, you can’t wait until Christmas Day is over. Starting tonight at 8 p.m., Ooh La La Burlesque presents the second annual Fuck Christmas Party. Highlights include live music from the National Blues Arsenal, scantily clad bartendresses, $2 Pabsts, $3 Bushmills and the chance to escape your crazy family.
