The Denver County Fair serves up tradition like no other fair on earth: Only in Denver do stormtroopers and movie cars mingle with unicorn rides, sideshow acts and pie-eating contests on the fair floor, which also includes such innovations as a Geek Pavilion, a Kitten Pavilion, a drag queen pageant and the annual Peeps diorama competition. Photographer Aaron Thackeray captured the variety of the Denver County Fair in these images and more.
