The point of iWorld, which opened this week at the Colorado Photographic Arts Center, is pretty much contained in the title: We do live in an iWorld of our own making, and it’s changing the face of the photographic image with its new level of immediacy — instant gratification, if you will. The resulting show is bustling and splendid, and big enough to fill two separate gallery spaces, at CPAC and the Denver Central Library.
It all kicks off officially tonight with a reception at CPAC from 5 to 8 p.m.; tomorrow, tour that portion of the show with some of the artists from 1:30 to 3 p.m. And now for your viewing pleasure, here’s a taste of what our brave, new iWorld looks like:
