The third Biennial of the Americas featured an event last weekend at Civic Center Park that included food trucks, family-friendly fun and performances by Bomba Estéreo, Companhia Urbana de Dança, Black Violin, Ian Cooke and the CSO, Wonderbound and Jeremy Bailey.

Beginning on July 14 with opening week events, and continuing through August 30, 2015, the Biennial will feature installations, conversations and live performances that celebrate shared cultural heritage and connection between North and South America.

Westword photographer Brandon Marshall caught some of the action. See our full Biennial of the Americas slide show.
