$25,000

Just two days after a jury decided the verdict in the Aurora theater shootings case, organizers of the A Night to Remember Beer Festival hosted their annual event at the Four Mile Historic Park, honoring the victims of the crimes, which took place on July 21, 2012. The festival included beer, food and music and is dedicated to raising money for the ACT Foundation, which was started by the Teves family, in memory of Alex Teves, who was one of the victims. Alex was also a regular at the Copper Kettle Brewing Festival, which helped create the event. Westword photographer Scott Lentz took these photos. Find the rest in our A Night to Remember slide show.
