“Where do you want to go?”
“I don’t know. Where do you want to go?”
“I don’t know.”
Stop that immediately. This is not a week for indecision. No hesitation. No wishy-washy bullshit. Denver Restaurant Week starts today and runs through March 2, and you’d better get your ass in gear or you’ll melt under the pressure.
A simple math equation indicates that 150 restaurants offering an average of three choices for appetizers, entrees and deserts for seven nights yields something like a gazillion possible options. Lucky for you, the menus are online at www.denverrestaurantweek.com, so you can study up and make your picks on company time.
Last year, the Denver Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau tallied more than 101,000 people spending — on average — seventeen minutes looking at 42 menus online. This year, the new restaurants alone number 59. And it’s got to take some time to map out the thirty that are including a glass or bottle of wine as part of the mile-high price of just $52.80 per couple.
Decisions, decisions.
Singles are welcome to partake — though $26.40 doesn’t have quite the same ring to it. Just be sure to make reservations at the website.
