Silverton Mountain is a good seven-hour drive from Denver in the winter, but we’re going to argue that their season pass deal is too good to pass up, especially if you buy one this week while they’re 50 percent off: Silverton is selling a limited number of 2011/2012 season passes this week for just $399.
In addition to unlimited advanced/expert skiing/riding during Silverton Mountain’s unguided skiing season, half-price helicopter drops in the mountain’s 22,000 acres of heli-serviced terrain (normally $159) and discounts on guided skiing during the snowiest parts of the season (mid-January through early April), the pass deal also includes five free days each at Arapahoe Basin, Loveland and Monarch, making it one of the best season-pass deals in Colorado.
The $399 passes went on sale to the public yesterday after first being offered to previous season passholders only. Get yours before they’re gone..
