If you want to see an entertaining winter play — but are going to puke nutcrackers if you see A Christmas Carol one more time — head to the Denver Crossroads Theater, 2590 Washington Street, tonight for A December Suite.
The musical follows the fictional Fitzenstarts sisters and their students as they attempt to bring their 46th annual winter recital to fruition. The group resolves its production problems amid much music, dancing and hilarity — not to mention puppets.
“It celebrates the feeling we all get of love, sharing and fun,” says director Stacey D’Angelo. “I was really looking for something unique for the whole family.”
December Suite sings on through December 30, running Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children twelve and under. For information and tickets, go to www.denvercrossroads.com or call 303-832-0929.
Fridays, Saturdays, 7 p.m.; Sundays, 2 p.m. Starts: Nov. 30. Continues through Dec. 30, 2007
