Whether you’re whisker-deficient or not, this is definitely one of the hippest looks for the slopes this season. From L.A.’s Bearded Apparel, the Beard Head combines the aesthetic appeal of a flowing beard with the cold-weather protection of a wool-acrylic blend in lieu of human hair. Pictured above is my favorite model, the Viking.
Beyond the Viking, there’s the Pirate (black), the Bunny (pink), the Lumberjack (brown), and the Grandpa (grey). There’s also some multicolored models — which are currently the only ones that are available directly though the Beard Head website until the more popular above editions are re-stocked. The mustache is removable if you’d prefer a Fu Manchu or a Walrus instead of the traditional ‘stache.
